A more powerful 200 Amp version of the popular 166i MMA Inverter for heavier
duty welding tasks from a 230v single phase supply. Requires just a 16 amp supply
to be used at maximum power, and will lay down 5.0mm electrodes.
Weighing just 10 kilos, IP23 rated for outdoor use & able to run from power
generators - AVR Stabilized, 6Kva minimum – make it an ideal tool for
heavier mobile repairs; agricultural, construction machinery maintenance etc.
Duty Cycle is an impressive 40% at full power (10 minutes 40C). Hot-Start is
built in & optimised for all settings.
Toshiba manufactured internal power components for reliability, mounted in
a rugged internal support frame to prevent damage caused by small drops.
Industrial 35-50mm Dinse panel sockets are fitted as standard to accept quality
leads.
Some of the very cheapest Inverters on the market are now practically throw-away
when they fail, but the TEC-ARC units are fully repairable should a
fault occur outside warranty, with a complete range of machine spares in stock
& excellent technical & after sales back-up.
The 206i can also be used for basic, scratch-start TIG welding with the addition
of a suitable TIG torch, gas regulator & Argon gas supply.
