Designed for high duty MMA (Arc) welding from a 230v supply.
Portable and powerful, the Fusion 180MA weighs in at just 8kg but will run
a 4.0mm electrode continuously with it’s 100% Duty Cycle @ 160 Amps! (10
minute cycle @ 40c).
Software driven digitally controlled Arc Force, Hot Start & Anti-Stick
features ensure perfect ignition even with the most difficult of electrodes,
including Celulosic.
A digital meter clearly shows the selected amperage which can be accurately
set, even wearing heavy welding gloves, using the large 360º encoder
controls.
Also suitable for scratch-start TIG welding (with optional TIG kit) the Fusion
180 provides a full 180 Amps of power at 100% Duty Cycle when set to TIG Mode.
An LED panel display allows quick and easy selection between processes and clearly
shows which mode the machine is set to, as well as mains power indicator &
over temperature light.
Housed in an IP23 high impact nylon casing incorporating a forced-fan 'wind
tunnel' design which ensures highly efficient cooling but prevents dust and
dirt being drawn into the machine by the fan and contaminating internal electronics.
